For the second time in a row, Rosecrans has been awarded “Best Show Site of the Year” by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds—an honor that reflects the outstanding success of the Sound of Speed Airshow and the exceptional collaboration behind it. While Sound of Speed is set to return in 2026, Rosecrans is introducing an exciting new experience this year: the Pony Express STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing). There are many items on the ballot in Buchanan County today depending on where in the county you live. In the St. Joseph School District, voters will decide on two new board members and on Proposition 2. The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has endorsed Proposition 2, which would build a new high school south of U.S. Highway 36. We believe this moves the community forward in accordance to the Imagine St. Joseph 2040 plan by investing in people and creating a better place. We know that potential residents and workers often take schools into account when making decision about where to live. Voting yes today helps ensure a brighter tomorrow.

A unified voice for St. Joseph traveled to the nation’s capital this week. More than 30 community and business leaders participated in the annual Washington, D.C. Fly-In. The delegation met with lawmakers and their staff members to discuss priorities including the strength of the 139th Airlift Wing, economic development and agriculture, workforce and education, and healthcare. Participants also received briefings from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and heard from Major General Duke Pirak, Acting Director of the Air National Guard. This fly-in demonstrated the power of collaboration and the commitment of St. Joseph leaders to make our voices heard on the national stage. The St. Joseph Community Alliance helps coordinate this Chamber event. #sjchamber
