👷♂️ Industry in Action: Marshallese Youth Explore Local Careers! Last Friday, students in the Marshallese Youth Initiative got a hands-on look at Springdale’s booming industries during Industry Day. From touring the production lines at Rise Baking Company to experiencing the heavy machinery at Sharp’s Quarry with APAC Central, these students met local leaders, saw real-world careers up close, and even connected with recruiters from the U.S. Army to learn about potential career paths. Programs like this help students connect what they’re learning in school to the real opportunities that exist right here in Springdale. Big thanks to the Springdale School District, the AEP Energy Foundation (at the recommendation of SWEPCO), and all our business partners for investing in our future workforce! #SpringdaleChamber #MarshalleseYouthInitiative #InvestInYouth #CareerExploration #FutureLeaders
