Yesterday the Special team went on tour to INDYCAR in the City of Long Beach, thanks to our lovely FOX Sports partners. And what a day out it was. We took bets. And laps. And notes on driving insanely fast cars. And we can confirm, INDYCAR is indeed that fastest racing on earth 🔥🏎️

She’s back! So excited to welcome Maya back into the Special fold as our Culture and Community director. She will be continuing to lead the charge on #SpecialAcademy while also building out our cultural efforts across LA and New York. We are over the moon to have you back Maya and so excited to see where this goes 💫
Guess who’s bizzacckk! I’m excited to announce that I’m coming back in the game with a new role as Culture and Community Director at Special U.S. Catch me lowkey skipping to the office as I indulge in free lunches and adult conversations since the playground has been my main office for the past 3 years loll. Super excited about this next chapter 💃🏽

We are big fans of shots and their consistent commitment to creative excellence, so to have been shortlisted for 8 awards this year is a huge honor. Thank you to all the shots judges for the recognition and everyone at Uber, Special U.S. and O Positive Films who helped bring this work to life. We are looking forward to May 1st already.

This time last week Special US wrapped our second annual offsite, aptly named "Special United", where both offices come together for some vision setting, values refreshing and... you guessed it, wine tasting + late night karaoke-ing. We spent the day reminding each other of the power of ambitious work - what it is, how you get to it, why independent creativity is our North Star. And spent the night embracing the creatively unhinged outfits - and personalities - that make it all possible. We had Tarot, we had GOATs, we had some photos taken where we all look a bit like we escaped from the Yellowstone set... but most of all we re-upped our commitment to making very best work we can - with the very best people we know. If you are going to make something, make something Special. Matthew Woodhams-Roberts Dave Horton Amy Ferguson Kelsey Hodgkin

"What struck me when I got to Special is just how oriented the team and organization are to making the best creative work we can make. It’s so pure. I don’t know that as a creative leader you can ask for anything else—it’s the best conditions for a creative to be in." Our own Amy Ferguson talks with Brittaney Kiefer at ADWEEK about her leadership style, what's inspired her recently and her creative ambition for the Special U.S. New York office.
