In honor of National Volunteer Month, IGNITE, a Business Resource Group at SPP, recently organized a volunteer opportunity for SPP staff at the Arkansas Food Bank in Little Rock, Arkansas. We're proud of our staff who participated and their commitment to making a positive difference in our community! Together, they packed more than 3,200 pounds of potatoes, providing essential support to those in need. #NationalVolunteerMonth

Each month, SPP employees choose a local or national charity to support. For April, we are excited to support Life Skills for Youth (LSY), a transformative nonprofit organization in Central Arkansas. Established in 2007 by Coach Larry Clark, LSY offers a variety of programs aimed at empowering youth in the community who come from low-income backgrounds. This month, SPP staff are raising funds on campus for LSY through a bake sale and silent auction. We are proud to support LSY's mission to empower youth and families!

This week, SPP employees had the opportunity to connect with the SPP Officer Team during a meet-and-greet event. New CEO Lanny Nickell, along with officers Antoine Lucas, Felek Abbas, and Carrie Simpson officially took on their new roles. The event also marked a warm welcome for Kevin 'K.B.' Bryant as he stepped into his role as EVP, Stakeholder Affairs and Chief Strategy Officer at SPP. It was a great event, filled with meaningful conversations and a fantastic way to kick off the day!
