  • Happy Doctors Day to Dr. Thomas Hodgkiss and Dr. Howard Bromley. Doctors Day is celebrated on March 30th of each year. National Doctors' Day has a rich history dating back to 1933 when Charles B. Almond, MD, initiated the first celebration in Winder, Georgia. Today, we observe Doctors Day by taking time to appreciate the contributions that our physicians have in our lives. At Southern VIP, we have two amazing doctors. Dr. Thomas Hodgkiss’ primary areas of interest are treating PAD patients, interventional vascular/oncology, and kyphoplasty treatment for vertebral compression fractures with the subsequent treatment of underlying osteoporosis. https://lnkd.in/dbaMkPKj Dr. Howard Bromley currently serves as the medical director at Southern Pain VIP. Dr. Bromley enjoys treating pain management patients as he obtains great satisfaction in seeing his patients improve their overall quality of life. https://lnkd.in/dgCStjUx

  • If peripheral artery disease (PAD) is caught early, many times it can be managed by lifestyle modification. Our Southern VIP walking program is a step-by-step plan for improving your vascular health through smoking cessation, dietary improvement, and progressively strengthening exercise. If a procedure is necessary to provide blood to the lower extremities, our Foot Rescue procedure is a minimally invasive outpatient procedure that does not involve cutting. • Not all peripheral artery disease (PAD) treatments address the foot equally. Many interventional radiologists say they treat the foot, but then stop revascularization at the ankle, leaving the pedal loop with insufficient blood flow. Southern VIP offers Foot Rescue, a minimally invasive procedure to revascularize the legs, as well as the feet and toes. Before you agree to an amputation, lower leg atherectomy, or leg angioplasty, you owe it to yourself to research all of the treatment options. Your toes may thank you for it. Board-certified interventional radiologist and owner of Southern VIP. My primary area of interest is the treatment of critical limb ischemia (CLI) using a minimally invasive Foot Rescue procedure.

Would you embolize the "avm"? Lateral plantar occlusion was repaired with laser atherectomy and angioplasty. One week after treatment the wound has healed significantly. Interesting results with the "neovascularity" embolization used for chronic knee and plantar fascia pain. @SouthernVIP #FootRescue #Angiodynamics #Auryon
