Get your Apple devices up to date right away, because Apple just patched two zero-day bugs used in real-life malware attacks! The first bug is a code execution hole that lets the attackers break in. The second is a security bypass that allows them to circumvent the operating system’s much-vaunted “pointer authentication code” (PAC) security protection. Ironically, given that phones are at heart audio devices, the code execution bug can be triggered by a booby-trapped sound stream (which includes any file or item you view that has an audio component). Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check if you are up to date. And take a look at ☀️𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, the mobile security solution that protects your company’s devices in ways that your existing MDM system can’t: https://lnkd.in/eRhVNswp

Let’s clear something up: Cybercriminals don’t scroll past your company because you have fewer than 500 employees. They don’t care about your headcount. They care about access, data, and weak spots. 💥 Automated attacks don’t discriminate 💥 Supply chain hits often start with smaller vendors 💥 Ransomware gangs love an unprotected target At SolCyber, we give small and mid-sized businesses the same protection as the Fortune 500; because being small doesn’t mean being safe. #cybersecurity #infosec #mssp #ransomware #smallbusinesssecurity #staysafe

In a recent piece by CISO Series, 22 experts shared their top tips to reduce Mean Time to Remediation (MTTR) in cloud environments—and our very own David Emerson, CIO at SolCyber, was one of them. “My favorite tip to reduce MTTR is to standardize one’s operations.” – David Emerson, CIO, SolCyber When cloud environments are built on chaos, speed suffers. Standardization not only reduces noise—it helps your team focus on real threats, take decisive action, and recover faster. We often focus on the tools we use, the threats we face, and the tech we deploy. But beyond the firewalls and frameworks, there’s a bigger question: 👉 What does real security mean to you? Is it peace of mind? Is it knowing your team is protected? Is it being able to sleep at night without wondering what’s lurking in your network? Fill in the blank below: To me, real security means ______________. We’d love to hear your take—whether it’s personal, professional, or philosophical. Because cybersecurity isn’t just about systems. It’s about people. #cybersecurity #infosec #datasecurity #mssp #securityculture #staysafe
