Yesterday we had the next in-person session of our Build-A-Practice program. This program is foundational training for our Team as they are navigating the world of business development and building their own professional practice. These tools and conversations are hopefully helping them feel better prepared and equipped to continue delivering excellence. We learned a lot about how to manage time to invest in the business of the business, more on how to better engage and build relationships with our partners, and how getting outside your comfort zone is one of those challenging steps that with a bit of effort, can make a huge impact. The intentional investment in the SMEUSA team's mindset and approach was front-and-center earlier this week during our 2nd full-group Build A Practice session at our HQ in Plymouth. Focusing on critical skills like effective & efficient time management, utilizing tools like CRM, and developing systems for our daily work, a mix of speakers, hands-on guidance and panel discussion drove these points home. I even was invited to speak a bit on the importance of CRM in our work, largely pulling from my past experience working with Salesforce and sharing some initial one-month-in thoughts on our system.
