Last week, the SnoFox Sciences team came together at their Boston location for a quarterly onsite summit. The team had the opportunity to tour customer facilities, discuss the future of our company in person, and enjoy plenty of meals together. “Having the remarkable talent of our team all in the same room is a whirlwind experience. It is so exciting to be a part of this group as we build the future of SnoFox together and celebrate everything we’ve accomplished so far”, said CEO Benjamin Rubin.

“Operators, too, are getting smarter. The most innovative ones are adopting technology like automated racking, smarter energy-efficient refrigeration, and AI powered warehouse management systems to improve and maximize operations.” Refrigerated & Frozen Foods Magazine reflects on the #coldstorage industry in 2024 and tailwinds going into 2025 including #tariff implications, new technologies, and demand for cold storage space. “The future of ammonia refrigeration lies at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and proven safety practices.” Insightful article from ACHR NEWS and Kushal Aurangabadkar on the use of technology in the refrigeration industry. With the average cold storage facility being over 42 years old, these innovations are sorely needed. The SnoFox #digitaltwin platform leverages existing data, proprietary algorithms, and remote technology to extract insights, enhancing system efficiency without the need for any additional hardware. https://lnkd.in/gjHk_8TG

Another one of CEO Benjamin Rubin on the talk circuit! As demand for frozen food continues to grow, modern tools are needed to manage the infrastructure that keeps our food cold. SnoFox Sciences's #digitaltwin modeling is at the forefront of that modernization, giving operators a co-pilot to help their facilities reduce energy consumption and the cost and frequency of maintenance. #coldstorage #frozenfood #refrigeration
Another fun one from last week! I got the chance to speak at the Wall Street Green Summit at The Cornell Club-New York. Didn’t have time to prep slides beforehand so I just candidly shared the most pressing challenges facing SnoFox Sciences today and asked the room filled with incredibly bright and experienced people for feedback and help. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you so much to everyone that participated in some realtime, impromptu sleeve-rolling-up and problem solving! I’ll take that over flipping through a slide deck any day!

CEO Benjamin Rubin representing SnoFox at Climate Tech Demo Night! Thank you to Streetlife Ventures, Amazon Web Services (AWS), NYU Tandon Future Labs and Climate Tech Cities for hosting a fantastic event.
Such an honor and a thrill to present at the latest Climate Tech Demo Night hosted by Streetlife Ventures, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and NYU Tandon School of Engineering. What could be better than getting to geek out on digital twins, the climate impact of industrial refrigeration, and sustainable infrastructure alongside the Chief Climate Officer of New York City, Rohit Aggarwala. Special thanks to Laura Fox and Sonam Velani for inviting me to talk and IndieBio for hosting!

SnoFox Sciences has been added as a qualified provider for National Grid energy rebate incentive programs! National Grid’s Real-Time Energy Management (RTEM) and Enhanced Monitoring-Based Commissioning (EMBCx) programs help customers implement low- to no-cost energy saving measures, as well as increase data visibility for better informed decision making. As a Qualified Service and System Provider, SnoFox can install, recommend, verify, and ensure persistent energy saving measures, with added financial incentives for the customer for every kWh saved. For industrial refrigeration systems, SnoFox’s #digitaltwin platform uses first-principles thermodynamics to identify energy savings and equipment performance issues, and recommends efficiencies that help the planet, the production line, and the bottom line. Access more information about the EMBCx and RTEM programs below: EMBCx (MA): https://lnkd.in/eUduMHi6 RTEM (Upstate NY): https://lnkd.in/e232PS-9

We're thrilled to welcome Scott Myers to the Go To Market Team! Scott will be our first full time sales hire supporting Co-Founder Matthew Rubin with all things GTM and Business Development. Scott comes to us via the Greentown Labs community. His strong experience in early stage climate tech and an overwhelming endorsement from a fellow founder at Greentown made Scott an obvious and exciting addition to the crew. You can catch him working hard in our Boston office or out on the rugby pitch putting up tries. Welcome, Scott!
