Counting down the days until the FIFA World Cup 2026™ - Canada, Mexico and the United States 📆   To celebrate 500 days to go until the biggest tournament of its kind kicks off, our Toronto office invited special guest Diana Matheson to talk about her journey from Canada Soccer Women's National Team member to founder of the Northern Super League, as we look ahead to a historic occasion for the nation. "With FIFA World Cup 2026 coming to Canada, we’re on the brink of another watershed moment for soccer in this country," Matheson said. "The energy and investment around the game are at an all-time high, and that momentum will have a lasting impact on the entire soccer landscape in Canada, including on Canada's new women's professional soccer league - the Northern Super League."

US Youth Soccer was ecstatic to co-host a 𝒽𝒾𝓈𝓉𝑜𝓇𝒾𝒸 all-woman technical leadership course in partnership with US Club Soccer, Women and Girls in Soccer (WAGS), and U.S. Soccer Federation. 30 female technical leaders and 4 female coach educators gathered at the US Olympic Performance Center in Charlotte, NC to make a difference for the good of the game!✨⚽️

Congratulations to our outgoing interns! 👏   Last week, we said farewell to the Miami HQ’s first cohort of the FIFA26 Future Leaders Class in Miami!   The 24 young talents earned the chance to intern through FIFA's partnership with Miami Dade College and have spent the past few months working across various departments — from Safety & Security to Sustainability & Environment to Media & Broadcast — in preparation for FIFA World Cup 26™.   FIFA President Gianni Infantino visited the students at FIFA's offices in Miami to celebrate their time on the programme.   He said: "I was pleased to learn about their positive experience and I am certain we can welcome some of them back for the new FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and the inaugural 48-team FIFA World Cup in 2026. I extend my thanks to these fantastic students from a great institution. Keep up the good work!"
