Thanks to the generosity of our community, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom was able to collect nearly 600 pre-loved coats during the duration of Holiday in the Park. These coats were distributed to four local organizations that serve those in need. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is extremely grateful for all the donations and the support we received this year. We look forward to continuing to execute events like this and make a positive impact in our community. Thank you again for your kindness!

To kick off Holiday in the Park, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom had the pleasure of hosting Miss Vallejo/TriCity, Miss Napa County, and Miss Vallejo/TriCity Teen for the 1st Tree lighting ceremony of the season. The titleholders accompanied a family of guests to flip the switch and light up the magical 55' Christmas Tree in Main Plaza. With the end of Fright Fest, the "Ghoulies" celebrated various departments who participated in making this past Halloween season spooky. From "Scariest Scare Actor" to "Best Gatekeeper", several awards were presented to associates in recognition of their outstanding performance. Not only was this Six Flag Discovery Kingdom's 25th year of Fright Fest but individual associates also achieved milestones, like Brian Halcome, who just achieved his 14th season of Fright Fest. All those attended were treated to food, rides, music and an exclusive private magic show from Spencer Grey, allowing them to enjoy the end of a great season amongst their fellow hardworking associates. We'll see you next year for more haunting fun!

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom was honored to be the location supporting the Solano Transportation Authority's groundbreaking event for the State Route 37 / Fairgrounds Dr. Project. This project will not only improve traffic flow but most importantly, elevate safety for the millions of guests and thousands of associates that use 37 and Fairgrounds Drive to arrive at the park each day. Whether that be to experience the thrill of a rollercoaster or the thrill of an animal interaction, our visitors from far and wide will also get to experience the thrill of driving through a Diverging Diamond Interchange.
