Signature Health CEO Jonathan Lee recently had the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., and participate on a legislative hearing panel, offering perspective on how critical Medicaid is to supporting people with substance use disorders and those in recovery. Organized by the Legal Action Center in collaboration with the Addiction, Treatment, and Recovery Caucus and other partners, the hearing attracted ~75 congressional staffers to learn from advocates about finding bipartisan solutions for the country’s multifaceted addiction crisis, addressing stigma, and increasing access to care to save lives. We are excited to announce that the phase 1 renovations to our Ashtabula health center are now complete! The new, fully renovated sixth floor is dedicated to primary care services, including exam rooms, nurses stations, provider work space and reception areas. Signature Health's Ashtabula Sexual and Reproductive Health Services providers also moved over from 510 W. 44th St. to join the team in this larger space for physical wellness! The fifth floor also was built out for behavioral health services, including rooms outfitted for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). The main lobby got a refresh, and phase 2 work will start soon to expand the pharmacy and lab areas on the first floor.
