    🤏 An Ounce of AUR = A Pound 🏋 of Advertising Upselling tools exploded after storefront 2.0 rollout, from product pages to checkout and beyond we now can see 🤲 Also bought with ⬆️ Upsell bundles & 🛍️ Special offers at or post-checkout Increased AOV definitely has a major impact on profitability when driven by units per transaction increases, allowing shared postal costs across multiple, lower, pick costs and increasing efficiency, but many overlook the singular value of AUR (Average Unit Retail). AUR increases require absolutely no incremental effort and result in a direct contribution to profit. Every percent of AUR achieved can be spent directly on advertising or banked. Achieving it is a bit more subtle, and requires: - Ongoing A/B testing of collections and pricing, - Feature-table style curation of top items - Alterations to feeds to curate to higher price items and - Price tolerance testing to achieve different macro-level markdowns. A 2% increase in AUR year over year, spent at a real 3:1 acquisition rate will obviously add 6% to your revenue if you maintain neutral margin. #profit #outsource #ppc #growthmarketing #performancemarketing #retail
