At this year's Community Volunteer Reception, we’re rolling out the red carpet (metaphorically, but we’re open to suggestions!) to spotlight three outstanding nonprofit leaders as finalists for the Bill Bolling Nonprofit Leader Award. These incredible changemakers have spent their careers making Atlanta a better place, and we can’t wait to celebrate them! Kathy Colbenson – Recently retired CEO of CHRIS 180, Kathy has dedicated her career to expanding trauma-informed care and helping young people build brighter futures. A passionate advocate, her leadership has transformed countless lives across Atlanta. While officially “retired,” we know she’s far from slowing down when it comes to making a difference! Julio Carrillo – As CEO of Hope Atlanta, Julio is a visionary leader driving impact for youth and families in low-opportunity communities. With executive roles at Families First, Techbridge, and Big Brothers Big Sisters, he believes Georgia can be a model for addressing homelessness through collective action. A Leadership Atlanta alum, he serves on multiple boards and has been recognized among Atlanta’s top leaders for his dedication to social change. Blythe Keeler Robinson – A nationally recognized expert in early education, Blythe has spent over 25 years ensuring young children and families have the resources to thrive. As President & CEO of Sheltering Arms Early Education and Family Centers she leads one of Georgia’s oldest and most respected nonprofits. A 2022 Aspen Institute Ascend Fellow, she also holds leadership roles with the International Women’s Forum, NBCDI, and PATH Atlanta. Join us in celebrating these inspiring leaders and the volunteers who make our community stronger.

“Libraries play an important role in communities for individuals and groups. It is a place for quiet time to read, get information and explore. It is also a place where groups gather for book clubs, community events, and cultural events. Libraries are community hubs where everyone is welcome! As an avid reader and book lover, I am both excited and honored to serve on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Foundation.” -Blythe Keeler Robinson The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Foundation welcomes Blythe Keeler Robinson to our Board of Directors.
