Last week, San Francisco SafeHouse stood in solidarity with the Women’s Housing Coalition, city leaders, and fellow advocates at the Women’s History Month Rally to demand urgent action on homelessness among women and gender-diverse San Franciscans. 📢 Women make up nearly half of the unhoused population but receive less than 5% of resources. 📢 Survivors of violence can’t wait — Prop A funds must be released now. 📢 Women deserve a seat at every table where housing decisions are made. We were proud to raise our voices alongside Supervisors Chan, Melgar, Chen, and Fielder, incredible speakers from across the city, and our brilliant Chief Advocacy and Policy Officer, Yves-Langston, who closed out the event with a powerful call to action.
