Michael Stone had an amazing time volunteering with Cumberland County Elementary School’s 2nd-grade classes on their field trip to the Richmond VA Metro Zoo! It was a fantastic day of learning from the zookeepers, exploring the animals, and making memories with about 120 excited 2nd graders. He also had the chance to represent the SSC family, sporting my SSC hat, jacket, and backpack while connecting with parents and teachers. Grateful for the opportunity to support these students and share this experience with them! #SeventhSense #NationalVolunteerMonth

Ari Williams, Business Development & Capture Specialist at SSC, returned to her alma mater, George Mason University, to take part in the Alumni Student Networking Mixer! This meaningful event was designed to give current undergraduate students a chance to gain real-world networking experience in a welcoming, supportive environment. As part of an experiential learning initiative, students had the opportunity to connect with professionals working in the DMV area and begin building valuable relationships to support their future career goals. Thank you, Ari, for helping to shape the next generation of leaders! #SeventhSense #GeorgeMasonAlumni

Laurie volunteers with Toys for Tots North Brevard, which serves families in the areas surrounding Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This organization collects and distributes toys to support local families in need, especially during the holiday season. Each November, the toy warehouse opens, and volunteers sort donations by type—such as dolls, sports equipment, science kits, and crafts—as well as by brand, including Disney, Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Nerf. Once families register their children, the team receives details about each child’s age, gender, and any special requests. Volunteers then “shop” in the warehouse, selecting toys tailored to each family’s needs. The gifts are bagged and set aside for pickup, with volunteers working four nights a week and most weekends until just before Christmas. Pickup day takes place on the last Sunday before the holiday. Laurie’s first year volunteering in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, left a lasting impact on her heart. Many families who had always been able to provide for their children suddenly found themselves struggling to pay for necessities, let alone holiday gifts. Seeing the joy and relief Toys for Tots brought to those families was both heartbreaking and heartwarming—a reminder of why she returns year after year. In 2024, the team shopped for approximately 1,200 families and 24 charities, providing toys for 5,000 children. It’s hard work, but it’s incredibly rewarding—and they have a lot of fun along the way! Seventh Sense Consulting, LLC reposted this
I’m thrilled to be partnering with JMU College of Business students and Ruairi R Walsh, MBA's class on a hands-on project exploring recruitment optimization. Over the next few weeks, these talented students will be diving into our recruiting process and providing creative, data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency. Jacqie Denisco gave a phenomenal presentation at the project kick-off meeting this week – so proud of her! At Seventh Sense, we believe in innovation and continuous improvement, and we’re excited to see what fresh perspectives these students bring to the table. Looking forward to a great collaboration. #TalentAcquisition #Recruiting #Innovation #UniversityPartnerships

That’s a Wrap on Our Wellness Challenge! Today marked the final session of our Wellness Challenge, and we ended on a high note with our exciting wellness finale game! It’s always a blast, and we love learning new fun facts—like how bananas and tomatoes are the most eaten produce in the world! A huge congratulations to our winners, Carolyn Flure and Toni Douroux—true wellness whizzes! And a big thank you to everyone who participated in each session. Your energy, insights, and engagement made this journey even more rewarding. We had lively discussions and strengthened our family connections, all while prioritizing health. We can officially say our family members have earned their PHD in Personal Health Development! What’s next? Our monthly sessions will continue in May, where we’ll dive into our book discussion on The Pivot Year. We can’t wait to keep learning, growing, and getting healthier together. #SeventhSense #WellnessChallenge
