Today is bittersweet for our Serfass family. Ed Koehler, after 40 incredible years with our company, has retired from his role as a carpenter and superintendent. Ed’s dedication, hard work, and unwavering reliability have been a cornerstone of our company’s success. I first worked with Ed when I was just 14 years old, being dropped off on job sites. From that moment, Ed’s kindness and steady demeanor left a lasting impression on me. He was always there to lend a hand and teach others the trade, whether it was showing me how to install cabinets, set a door, framing a wall or guiding a new team member through their tasks. Ed’s positive attitude and perfect execution of every assignment earned him the well-deserved nickname “Steady Eddie.” Ed’s work on notable projects for Lehigh Valley Hospital, St. Luke’s Health Network, Wind Creek Casino, and many others speaks volumes about his expertise and commitment. His impact on our company is immeasurable, and his absence will be deeply felt. Ed, thank you for being the incredible person and professional that you are.
