Second Helpings

For over 25 years, Second Helpings has been addressing hunger in Central Indiana by providing meals, preventing food waste, and culinary job training. Merchants Foundation is honored to support the mission of Second Helpings! As one of the three local nonprofits we invited to our most recent volunteer expo, we are proud to partner with them and their efforts to fight hunger.

Buckingham Foundation is committed to making a lasting difference in the communities we serve. Through our Q1 volunteer initiative at Second Helpings, Buckingham volunteers came together to support food security efforts and provide meals to those in need. 📌 Our Impact: 🥪 1,415 sandwiches made 🍎 353 lbs of produce prepped 🍽️ 706 meals created 👥 Over 2,100 individuals impacted In addition to hands-on service, our $2,500 donation will provide more than 1,400 additional meals for those experiencing food insecurity. Simultaneously, our Business Solutions team contributed to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Meals That Heal program at Riley Children's Hospital, helping 70–80 families. Through strategic partnerships and volunteer initiatives like these, Buckingham Foundation continues to drive meaningful impact year-round.
