  • We recently joined the team at Steelcase to host a personal sustainability and wellness session—one more way they’re living out their commitment to design better futures for the wellbeing of both people and the planet. With such a strong foundation in sustainability, inclusion, and resilience, Steelcase is proving that “Better Is Possible.” Our sessions meet employees where they are, offering simple but powerful tools for reducing environmental impact while also improving daily health and financial stability. Scope Zero partners with companies like Steelcase to deepen their impact in two key ways: 🧑🏫 Through live wellness sessions that spark individual action toward sustainability. 🌱 Through our Carbon Savings Account® (CSA)—an employee benefit that helps employees afford clean home and transportation solutions. Want to inspire your team with a sustainability wellness session? Or ready to bring the CSA into your organization? Let’s connect. • Last week, Lizzy Kolar had the pleasure of joining the Everlane team at their stunning HQ for a personal sustainability lunch-and-learn session—part of their ongoing commitment to “Cleaner Fashion” and a healthier planet. We dove into everyday changes and behavior shifts that empower employees to shrink their environmental footprint while boosting their physical and financial wellbeing. Everlane is already leading the charge with their three sustainability pillars—Keep Earth Clean, Keep Earth Cool, Do Right By People—and this session was all about extending those values into team members’ personal lives. When you give people the tools to take climate action at home, they show up with energy, purpose, and a drive to do better for the world around them. At Scope Zero, we help companies like Everlane lead from within. Want to host a personal sustainability wellness session for your team? Or curious about how the CSA can fit into your employee benefits strategy? Let’s connect. • In the U.S. alone, if every company that offers a 401(k) also offered a Carbon Savings Account® (CSA), we could unlock over $300 billion a year in utility and fuel savings. That’s the environmental equivalent of taking 125 million cars off the road. At Scope Zero, we built the CSA around a simple idea: corporate sustainability starts with personal action. When employees are given tools to reduce their energy use, they begin to see their role in a much larger climate solution. Climate needs all of us working towards a more sustainable future, and the CSA is one of the most powerful ways an organization can bring its people on board. And when companies make this kind of action easy and accessible, they create a ripple effect that drives engagement, lowers emissions, and strengthens culture from the inside out. As we wrap up Earth Month, let’s make sustainability something your employees can take action on and benefit from. Curious what kind of impact your company could make? • When companies offer purpose-driven benefits, the impact goes beyond the individual. Dominique enrolled in the Carbon Savings Account® (CSA) because it aligned with her personal values, giving her a way to take meaningful climate action. With her CSA, she purchased smart power strips to cut down on standby energy waste, saving hundreds of dollars a year and lowering her environmental footprint at home. But the impact didn’t stop there. She’s now applying what she learned at work — bringing efficiency and awareness into her workplace. The CSA helps companies reduce emissions while building culture, attracting purpose-driven talent, and lowering operational costs. ➡️ Read Dominique’s CSA story: https://lnkd.in/emJFApej

  • Feeling like you’re part of something bigger is at the core of a strong workplace culture. In our recent Earth Month webinar, Kate Sargent of KJS Consulting shared that purpose-driven employees aren’t just looking for a paycheck or a mission statement. They want to contribute beyond their day-to-day role while feeling connected to a larger purpose. Earth Month is a great time to reflect on how your company fosters that kind of connection year-round. Whether it’s green benefits, donation matching, or volunteer programs, these are the moments that remind employees: I’m part of something meaningful and we’re all in it together.

  • Join us at 5:30 PM this evening for insights and networking at Standard Deviant Brewery! Big climate goals start with small, individual actions. But how do we scale them inside organizations? Scope Zero and Investature are bringing together the SF Climate Week community to discuss how individuals, no matter their role, can drive corporate sustainability from within. Together, we’ll explore how to reduce environmental impact (with the added benefit of achieving financial savings!) in these areas: 🏡 Your home 🚘 Your transportation 🥘 Your diet 💰 Your finances 👩💼 Your job 🌐 Your community https://lu.ma/yyouitf4 #SFClimateWeek #Sustainability #CorporateClimateAction #NetZero

  • Climate change is increasingly affecting employees' well-being and shaping what they expect from the companies they work for. They want to take climate-positive action in their personal lives — and they want to work for companies that are actively contributing to a healthier planet. And they’re looking for more than statements. They want real programs that help them take meaningful, climate-positive action. When employees feel empowered in this way, something powerful happens: they become more connected, more inspired, and more loyal. At Scope Zero, we’ve seen this firsthand. The Carbon Savings Account® (CSA) helps organizations bring their sustainability values to life by turning them into tangible, everyday actions employees can take. By making home upgrades accessible, the CSA helps employees save over $5,000 in utility and fuel costs and over 22,000 gallons of water per year. It then scales these individual actions into measurable, company-wide environmental and financial impact. This Earth Day, let’s move beyond awareness and into action. If you're exploring meaningful ways to support both your team and the planet, the CSA might be exactly what you’re looking for. Curious to see what impact your organization could make with the CSA?
