Another sports betting effort bites the dust. After getting through one vote, the bill's sponsor pulled the online betting legislation after it was clear that there wasn't support on the floor. Yet another group of people is suing DraftKings, this time in Pennsylvania. While others focus on sportsbook sign-up offers, this one takes a look at casino offers to and has the following to say about a $2K deposit offer playthrough requirement: “This means that, assuming a hand of blackjack takes ~1 minute, a user betting $50 every hand would have to spend more than 66 hours in a seven-day period playing blackjack to satisfy the playthrough requirement. That amounts to almost ten hours of blackjack a day, without stopping to eat or go to the bathroom.” https://lnkd.in/gACeh_Z3

ESPN and Penn know the key to ESPN Bet's success is leveraging ESPN's audience, but are regulators on board with this plan? Here's what Massachusetts Gaming Commission's Eileen O'Brien had to say about it: “With the launch of this partnership there was a lot of talk about eliminating the friction between the ESPN experience and the betting experience, which I get from a business point of view.
