Hot off the press! I'm thrilled to share that our latest manuscript has officially been accepted for publication today in the The Aesthetic Society Journal! This latest installment demonstrates a dose-dependent enrichment of stem and progenitor cells critical to angiogenesis (blood vessel formation) and immune modulation (anti-inflammation) in our automated processing technologies - the foundational IP for Sayenza Biosciences. I'm thrilled that my friend, colleague, and fellow alumni, Ramon Llull MD PhD, has accepted an invitation from my co-founder, Dr. Jered Haun, to join the UCI Samueli School of Engineering Biomedical Seminar Series as a guest lecturer this Friday. He is an associate professor of plastic surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and the Wells Fargo Faculty Scholar of Translational Sciences and will deliver the talk, "Mining Cells out of Adipose Tissue to assist engineering tissues and understanding tissue homeostasis." Finally took a moment to reflect (briefly) on the days that were the Octane OC Aesthetics Tech Forum and JPM Week! https://lnkd.in/gmBYEiyb I want to give a special shoutout to Goran Matijasevic for the invitation to the Octane event - which is probably my favorite meeting of the year bringing together surgeons and practitioners with industry leaders and cutting edge startups. It was great to catch up with my friend and clinical advisor of Sayenza Biosciences, Jerry Chidester, MD who had a massive 2024 with the opening of the cutting-edge The Plastics Clinic! JPM Week did not dissapoint! Much love to Lifeblood & Goodwin for putting on one of my favorite events, the MedTech CEO (only), Charles Larsen and the McDermott Will & Emery Forum, and Kristen Riemenschneider and my new friend Vinita Kailasanath for the great Freshfields hospitality and making tons of intros. I am also truly grateful for my new friends at the Japan Society of Northern California and California Life Sciences (CLS) for great events with great networking!
