Meet Leadership Savannah's Class Member of the Week, Michael Daniell. Mickey serves as the Area Manager covering Chatham and Effingham Counties in Georgia Power’s Southeast Region. He works to build the company’s influence, advance business interests, and provide community leadership. Raised in Laurens County, Mickey joined Georgia Power in 2011 and has since held various roles, including Education and Regional Economic Development Manager positions. Previously, he was an educator and coach in Houston and Bibb counties, where he taught Physics. Mickey holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Georgia College & State University and is a Certified Energy Manager and Economic Development Finance Professional. His and his wife have been married 30 years and have two adult sons. We are so happy to have him in this year's class!

Meet Leadership Savannah's Class Member of the Week. Lily Brown has become one of the most recognized interior designers in the Savannah area. Her ability to combine grace and drama with functionality and value has earned her a reputation for creating innovative spaces that also remain timeless. A native Southerner and an avid international traveler, Lily has a unique vision in mixing the charm of Southern design with influences from around the world. When designing, she believes in acknowledging the existing architecture, maintaining a sense of adventure, and velvet. In her spare time she loves skiing, cooking, and starting books that she never finishes. We are so happy to have Lily in our class!

Meet Leadership Savannah's Class Member of the Week. Matthew Barker is the manager of workforce development at Gulfstream Aerospace. Matt’s team is responsible for engaging in our communities to provide employment opportunities through military outreach, technical school partnerships, and apprenticeship programs. He has spent nearly two decades supporting and leading human resources teams in both the public and private sector. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Florida State University. When not working, Matt and his wife enjoy running, with a goal of completing a half-marathon or more in all fifty states. We are happy to have him in our class this year.
