Spotlight on: Kristina Kleszyk, Site Development Director   SAC continues to honor colleagues who have made invaluable contributions to our company as part of our Women’s History Month celebration. Today we toast Site Development Director Kristina Kleszyk.   "You are clearly an expert in your field, far better than most of our suppliers!”, a testimonial from one of our customers, is fairly representative of the way customers and colleagues feel about working with Kristina. Her methodical attention to detail, team management, relationship building, and creative problem solving all come into play as she secures solid leases for our customers and ensures our deployments comply with a myriad of agency regulations. She played a major role in the development of the SAC Engine Room, one of the top resources in the industry when it comes to local zoning.   Kristina does all of this, and more, leading her teams daily with kindness, a positive spirit, and genuine enthusiasm for the work we do. Spotlight On: Shawna Brown, General Counsel   As part of our recognition of Women’s History Month, today we celebrate Shawna Brown, General Counsel, as she nears her 20th anniversary with the company. SAC is both guided by and protected by her incredible work, vision, and attention to detail.   Like many in our organization, Shawna somehow finds ways to always give 100% to SAC and her family. Her daughter is now a thriving teenager thanks to the positive role model and nurturing mother she has in Shawna. No matter how big the challenges on either front, Shawna manages a healthy work/life balance that inspires us all.   Shawna joined SAC as an associate general counsel in 2006 before her promotion to general counsel in 2024. She began her career with Alcoa Wireless where she served as a contract general manager for four years. Spotlight on: Eron Barnes SVP Corporate Strategy As part of SAC's continued Women’s History Month celebration, today we would like to recognize our SVP of Corporate Strategy, Eron Barnes. In this new role, she will lead financial planning and accounting, along with all aspects of marketing, PMO, and human resources. Eron’s promotion provides us the ideal moment to marvel at everything she has accomplished in her life and career. Eron leads by example, and she does it all with heart, collaboration, and a willingness to mentor other women within the organization. She’s incredibly organized, which keeps very complex projects on track at all times. Eron's career path shows the benefits of constantly expanding one's skill set and leading with excellence, gratitude, and grace. When she led our National Program Management Office, a job focused on operational governance over company KPIs, Eron improved company efficiency and revenues by expanding her role to include vendor and license management, project supply chain, and sales engineering. Eron has long been a trailblazer among accomplished women in the wireless industry. Prior to joining SAC, Eron worked with AT&T and Cingular Wireless in a variety of leadership roles. She developed many regional programs that were soon embraced nationwide. As the head of our Professional Services division, Eron managed our professional engineers, registered architects, site development specialists, project managers, and Juris Doctorates, impacting all aspects of the organization. Over the past five years, Danielle has played a pivotal role in shaping our organization—first in the US Majors division and now as a driving force behind our Utility programs. Danielle's journey at SAC Wireless is a testament to her expertise and ability to lead at the highest level. Starting as a Project Manager, she quickly proved her value, rising to a Director role through hard work, strategic execution, and an unmatched ability to drive results. She has played an instrumental role in SAC’s expansion into utility deployment, quickly establishing our reputation in the sector. Five years ago, Danielle set up and led SAC’s first pLTE program, helping lay the foundation for our success in growth arenas. Today, she leads SAC’s largest Utility program, ensuring seamless execution of our projects and cementing customer trust. What sets Danielle apart is her deep industry knowledge, ability to think outside the box, solve complex problems, and earn the confidence of customers who rely on her expertise. Her commitment to excellence and holding both herself and her team to the highest standards makes her a respected leader, both within SAC and across the industry. Nestor Popowych, A.I.A. is as an industry icon and longtime SAC employee. His contributions range from designing the nation's first 17 wireless telecommunications cell sites for Ameritech in the early 1980s, to providing the vision leading to the development and patenting of stealth solutions such as the "Palm Tree" tm and "Pine Tree," tm. Since joining SAC Wireless in 2008, Nestor has been a key figure in the company's strategic growth and development of wireless design delivery and implementation capabilities. Nestor's contributions extend beyond his professional work; he is an active member of numerous organizations' Boards of Directors, community and parish groups. Residing primarily in Naples, FL, and Chicago, IL, he enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his wife, Olya Popowych, their son Alexander, and two grandsons, Silas and Leo, in Grand Rapids, MI.
