Donny had an opportunity meet with Lockwood Seed and Grain's Billy Marchy and observe their Cover Crop trial in Stanislaus County. The Cover Crop stand was very impressive with the various grains headed out, and Brassica, Bell Bean, and Daikon Radish in full bloom. Cover Crops are more and more being implemented by almond growers to not only provide pollinator habitat, but to also improve water infiltration and holding capacity, and improved soil health. #almonds #covercrop #soil #soilhealth
