We are delighted to share our 2024 Annual Report, which highlights a year of incredible community connections, innovative projects, and continuous outstanding work by our staff and volunteers. 🤗 See the full report on our website: https://lnkd.in/gUpsxf9N Our past year was filled with milestones and firsts for the Conservancy and The Greenway. From engaging new public art to hundreds of free programs and events, the Conservancy reaffirmed its commitment to creating connections between neighbors, visitors, and the outdoors. Our sustainably managed plant care and capital improvements not only make it possible for everyone to enjoy lush, restorative green space, but make it safe and welcoming for all. 🌳 💚 #GreenwayBoston #TheGreenway #VisitBoston

As we continue to celebrate #WomensHistoryMonth, we would like to acknowledge the four wonderful leaders of our Conservancy Board! Each of these four women work within the Boston community to provide opportunities for engagement, education, and service to the community. They also provide excellent leadership to the Greenway Conservancy by planning large-scale initiatives that allow us to continue creating a vibrant and inclusive space for all who visit the park. Hilina D. Ajakaiye, Chair of the Conservancy Board Rebecca A. Lee, Vice Chair of the Conservancy Board Kirsten Hoffman, Treasurer of the Conservancy Board Jenny Harding, Clerk of the Conservancy Board Thank you to these women and all who make up the incredible Conservancy Board! 📸 : Michael Blanchard (Slide 1), Lee-Daniel Tran (Slide 4), Images 2 & 3 submitted by the subject and reshared with their permission

The Greenway Conservancy was honored to receive the 2024 Commonwealth Award at last week's BSA Awards Gala! This award is given to "the individual, group, concept, or object (other than an architect or a building) that has significantly influenced our built environment or our awareness of it." We're delighted to have been recognized in this way and grateful for the opportunity to highlight the beauty of The Greenway! Thank you to the Boston Society for Architecture for this meaningful recognition, and congratulations to all the other award recipients, including UMass Brut, who was also honored with a Commonwealth Award! #GreenwayBoston #BSAAIA #BSAAwards #BostonLandscapeArchitecture
