Dr. Jennifer Daniel is a passionate pediatric dentist dedicated to giving Arkansas children a healthy start with strong, happy smiles. Childhood tooth decay is a serious issue, affecting nearly half of kids by age 9. This Children’s Dental Health Month is a reminder of the importance of early dental care—because prevention starts at home! Start brushing when the first tooth appears, use fluoride toothpaste by age 2, floss when two teeth touch, and schedule the first dental visit by age 1. Dental problems can begin before symptoms show, leading to ER visits, eating difficulties, and trouble focusing in school. Children with dental issues are more likely to miss school and struggle academically. This February, let’s give kids a healthy start! Read Dr. Daniel’s full opinion here: https://lnkd.in/gdCVXdRr
