Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Northeast Ohio, Inc. enhances the healthcare experience for families and children through comfort, care and supportive services. Our guest Houses in Cleveland and Akron provide families a welcoming place to stay, while Family Rooms offer respite and support just steps from children’s hospital rooms. The STAR Center is a fun learning environment for children while siblings’ receive outpatient care, and our Care Mobile provides dental services to children in under served areas of Northeast Ohio. Our online program, Redtreehouse.org, provides resource information to families nationally, with an emphasis on Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

The Ohle Family were excited to hear that their family would be growing when they went to their ultrasound and found THREE babies. At 26 weeks and four days, Anna developed severe preeclampsia, leading to an emergency delivery. Their three babies, Bennett, Sullivan, and Charlotte, were born prematurely. Bennett and Sullivan weighed 2 pounds, 9 ounces each, while Charlotte weighed just 1 pound. Tragically, Charlotte passed away two days later. The Ohles stayed at the Cleveland Ronald McDonald House for nearly a month while Bennett and Sullivan grew and recovered. 💙 The Ohle family’s experience at RMHC NEO left a lasting impression. 🏀 Darryn Peterson 🤝 The Jones/Saunders Family 🏀 Breeson went into cardiac arrest while playing basketball with his brother and friends at the YMCA. He was hospitalized in Akron and Cleveland, where he endured Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation, open-heart surgery for an aortic dissection, and a procedure to fix Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome. Ms. Jones stated that RMHC NEO was a blessing to their family, providing comfort and ease by being close to their son during his treatment. The program allowed them to focus on Breeson's recovery, offering a safe and caring place to shower, eat, and reset. ❤️ The Jones/Saunders family are huge basketball fans and will be in attendance at the McDonald’s All American Games tonight on ESPN!
