About us
In 1984, the Riverside Medical Clinic Foundation was incorporated by 19 Riverside Medical Clinic physicians with a mission to improving health and quality of life in the Riverside area. In 2013, Riverside Medical Clinic Charitable Foundation (RMCCF), a 501(c)(3) public charity, was incorporated to continue their legacy and wishes. Over the course of time, RMCCF has offered health education for chronic diseases and other conditions, including endometriosis, prostate cancer, Alzheimer's & related dementias, as well has hosted various lectures to serve the local community on various health topics. Most recently, RMCCF serves the community through an annual health fair, provides innovative programs focused on bullying prevention, advocates for kindness through Ripple Effect presentations and kindness events, and has also offered scholarships to individuals who have chosen health care as their field of study. In 2021, Riverside Project Heart was initiated with the goal of improving survival after a sudden cardiac event. Various AED's have been administered throughout the City of Riverside, CPR has been trained to numerous partners and businesses in town, and the start of the PulsePoint app in the city of Riverside is due to our collaborative efforts. In the future, more programs will focus on the power of civic belonging and social connection, supporting the healthcare system, addressing mental health disparities amongst youth and seniors, and providing opportunities for intergenerational engagement to support our seniors living at home.

This past Saturday, we were honored to partake in Riverside Medical Clinic's 90th Anniversary Celebration. We proudly commend the physicians and medical staff, past present and future, for their contributions to our community these past ninety years. Special thanks to RMCCF Board Member, Howard Boylan, for continuing to pay tribute to the legacy of his father, RMC Founding Doctor and a Foundation Founding Doctor, Dr. Richard Boylan.
