Ever wondered why cybersecurity hiring is broken? Jessica A. is flipping the script with a bold approach to talent acquisition and development! George K and George A talk to Jessica about: - How she transformed the company’s hiring by focusing on building talent rather than looking for unicorns or perfect fits - Why asking "Why are you here?" is her #1 interview question (and what she learns from it) - How her military background shaped her approach to servant leadership  Their "strange renegades" philosophy that's created remarkable team loyalty "Accessibility does not equate to aptitude. Some people just don't have access, but that doesn't mean they won't be great employees." Every company struggling with talent acquisition or employee churn needs to check out this conversation. 📰 News broke Rippling has filed a lawsuit against rival Deel. Per TechCrunch, the lawsuit "alleges racketeering, misappropriation of trade secrets, tortious interference, unfair competition, and aiding and abetting a breach of fiduciary duty." The rivalry between the two has been public for some time, but this latest news is the tip of the iceberg. ➡️ Rippling has claimed they have access to the company's #Slack log files, and found many instances where the word "Deel" was searched for by an employee, which raised flags. The employee's actions were scrutinized internally, and Rippling took appropriate action to remove the employee. So, what can we learn from this? When using corporate-owned devices or services, think twice. Your privacy isn't, to put it simply, private. Takeaways: 💻Any actions you perform on those devices will be logged. 👔Everything on the device, including files you create and share or emails sent and received, belongs to your employer. 🚫Have zero expectations of privacy.
