RespongerStrong acknowledges and supports the common and diverse challenges of the Responder community.
About us
ResponderStrong, a community of and for Emergency Responders, acknowledges diversity in the Responder community by providing Responders, Families, and Agencies innovative online support tools at many levels of need. All solutions are featured on their website and available to Responders nationwide in largely populated communities to the most remote rural areas. These confidential resources provide services ranging from a peer-to-peer anonymous chat app available 24/7, a mental health tool to manage stress, and a wellness tool to combat the job-related burn-out. Responders and their family’s wellbeing is too often compromised by the demands of their job and weighs heavily on the communities they serve. The statistics are alarming and the need for solutions is enormous. - EMS personnel report suicidal thoughts at a rate 10X the national average. - Journal of Emergency Medical Services - The average life expectancy for Law Enforcement Officers is 57 years old compared to 79 for civilians. - Sigma Tactical Wellness - Did you know 70% of the U.S. fire service is volunteer?- Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration This work is clearly groundbreaking as no other entity has assembled a collection of resources of this significance, in one place. All Clear Foundation (ACF) is a “by Responder/for Responder” organization that is changing the dialog of Responder health. ACF believes that diversity only makes Agencies stronger and more able to serve communities. The Responder communities served by ACF include: • Law Enforcement • Fire • EMS • Dispatch • Frontline Medical Workers • Ski Patrol • Disaster Responders • Crisis Counselors • Corrections • Coroners/Last Responders • Wildland Firefighters • Other Responders By making health and wellness tools available to Responders and families, ResponderStrong has formidably initiated a movement that will steadily steer communities locally and nationally towards a healthier populace.

Last Thursday, ResponderStrong held a Train the Trainer workshop in Cortland, New York, attracting 85 registrants with an excellent turnout in person and virtually. These free mental health curriculum workshops are designed by responders for responders. This highly regarded program is being implemented nationwide to enhance resilience, reduce stigma, and alleviate stress injuries such as burnout, compassion fatigue, anxiety, depression, and suicidality. Emergency response work has always posed unique mental, emotional, and physical challenges. In recent years, stress levels among those who protect and support our communities have surged to unprecedented highs. This has created a significant demand for specialized solutions like ResponderStrong's Train the Trainer Mental Health Curriculum workshops. A special thanks goes to the Emergency Services Insurance Program by McNeil & Co. for hosting this event. They were wonderful hosts and played a crucial role in making the event a success. We are proud to offer these workshops free to responders, thanks to the generous support of our sponsoring partners. #FirstResponders #mentalhealth
