RENOVATE PROJECT UE 🚜 at the EU CAP Network Seminar on Robotics & AI! On February 19-20, RENOVATE joined 170+ experts in Utrecht to explore how robotics and AI are transforming farming and forestry. Our project focuses on an interactive platform to enhance training and networking for farmers in sustainable crop management. 🌱 We are excited to share that the RENOVATE project participated in the “Research and Innovation (R&I) Webinar: Pesticides and Integrated Pest Management,” organized by the European Commission on February 11-12, 2025. This event was a great opportunity to discuss innovations in sustainable pest management and pesticide use. Key topics included: ☑️National and EU-funded projects  ☑️Innovations in plant protection products and their impact on agricultural sustainability ☑️Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects on Integrated Pest Management ☑️Knowledge exchange and advisory services in Integrated Pest Management In this context, RENOVATE has emphasized the importance of digital tools and interactive platforms in knowledge transfer and farmer training. We believe that the integration of innovative technologies can facilitate the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices and improve efficiency in pest management and pesticide use. On 29 and 30 January, the partners of the European project RENOVATE PROJECT EU met in Turin 📆 (Italy) to analyse the progress made so far and plan the next steps in the development of this initiative. The meeting was hosted by the University of Turin (UNITO) and was attended by representatives of all the entities involved. Who is who in the Renovate Project EU.📙📒📗 Renovate Project EU is coordinated 🗓️ by Emilio Gil, professor at the Agricultural Machinery Unit (UMA) of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) The consortium includes relevant partners from the Academia (UPC, UNITO), well recognized EU R&D centres (INHORT, PCFRUIT, INRAe, STEMS), SMEs and spin-off focused on innovation management and digital solutions to be adapted to educational programs (Horta, Virmedex, Tallento, Artica), farmers’ associations for a maximised representation of final users (CACV, PEK), advisors (CPS, DATERRA) and local authorities (MOA, LAORE). ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dpu_Jki6
