Regal Springs CEO visits sustainable skins project 🐟 #ProyectoPielesSostenibles In January, we proudly sponsored a comprehensive workshop to train 20 women in tanning fish skin — transforming it into sustainable tilapia leather. 40% of these women are heads of household, responsible for their families’ financial well-being, making it essential to provide them with new skills and opportunities. This week, our CEO, Alois Hofbauer, visited the sustainable skins project, meeting with these hardworking women from Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Honduras. Generating income in rural areas can be extremely challenging, which is why we are committed to helping low-income women improve their quality of life and that of their families by introducing new tools, training, and sustainable practices.
