🌟 Our People, Our Strength 🌟 Meet Nadine, one of our dedicated Cath Lab nurses whose journey at Redlands Community Hospital began in 2003. She started in Radiology and Radiation Oncology, serving patients on our Telemetry Unit, and now plays a key role in our Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology team. "I'm passionate about nursing because it allows me to be a meaningful part of a patient's journey—whether at the start of a diagnosis or during critical emergency procedures. Everyday, I'm grateful to support a team embodying our hospital's' Patients First mission.' Redlands Community Hospital was excited to break ground on our new Laura and Jack Dangermond Center for Radiation Therapy to improve cancer care in our region. Our beautiful new 7,364-square-foot facility will provide patients with access to the latest innovations and technologies in cancer radiation treatments in a larger space. This new space, expected to open in 2026, will allow for the expansion of radiation therapy as demand for cancer treatment in the region grows. The new Laura and Jack Dangermond Center for Radiation Therapy was made possible through funding from philanthropic donations from Esri, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, STATER BROS CHARITIES, and Inland Women Fighting Cancer through the Believe Walk, and many loyal individual donors.

Congratulations to Redlands Community Hospital Occupational Therapist Rachel Bendewald for placing first for overall female in the Run Through Redlands Half Marathon. She completed the run in an impressive 1 hour and 33 minutes. For the past 16 years, running has been a central part of her life. Rachel says the sport has been a fantastic way to challenge herself, relieve stress and stay fit. Continuing in the tradition of pushing herself, Rachel will run in the Los Angeles Marathon for the first time this month. Her advice to anyone who is interested in running is to just get started. The hardest part is getting your shoes on and getting out the door, she says start slow, and celebrate every little accomplishment!

Today is National Hospitalist Day, which recognizes the more than 60,000 physicians who manage patient care throughout their inpatient stay.
