Aarti Sharma, our vice president of policy and strategy, spoke to WABE’s Meimei (Zhimei) Xu about what cutting the U.S. Department of Education means for Georgia’s students and families. As she shared, “There’s such a range of students that need these services and funds that it actually impacts a much broader swath of students than I think most people realize.”

As she shared, “There’s such a range of students that need these services and funds that it actually impacts a much broader swath of students than I think most people realize.” Many thanks to Meimei (Zhimei) Xu and WABE for covering this important topic.
