📣 Randolph Health will lift the visitor restriction originally put in place on ages 12 and under beginning Thursday, March 27th at 7:00 am. The move to lift the restrictions was prompted by a decline in the number of flu cases in recent weeks. 💙 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚. Health care providers ask individuals of all ages who are experiencing flu-like symptoms to help control the spread of the illness by not visiting patients in the hospital. Symptoms include fever, headache, body aches, pain, cough or sore throat, stuffy or runny nose, chills, fatigue, nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea.

🐾 "𝐏𝐔𝐏𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞" 𝐨𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧! Remember Randolph Health's superhero certified therapy dog, 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧? 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧 and his mom, Marsha gained local and national attention when he triumphantly rang the bell after completing chemotherapy treatments at the end of 2023. 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧 was initially diagnosed with canine lymphoma in 2023 and his veterinarian team gave him, at most, 9-15 months probability of survival with chemotherapy. 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧 powered through 24 rounds of chemotherapy. Incredibly, it has now been 22 months since his initial diagnosis. "He is a miracle and I believe it is because of all the prayers he has received. He has people praying for him all over the world," said Quinn's mom, Marsha. Marsha said it's a blessing that 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧 has celebrated two birthdays since his diagnosis. "I think he wants to be around for a while because he still has a job to do, and I don't know exactly what it is, but he's on a mission and I'm not sure where it's going to take us." 🎈 Please join us in celebrating a very special boy, 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐧. He has brought so much comfort, support, and joy to staff and patients at Randolph Health. You got this, buddy! #Quinn #randolphcounty #therapydogs #dog

💙 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐧 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲. Join Randolph Health on Friday, March 7th for #DressInBlueDay to honor those impacted by colorectal cancer. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠. Colon cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, yet it remains a leading cause of cancer-related deaths. The good news? A colonoscopy can detect and remove precancerous polyps before they turn into cancer. If you're 45 or older (younger with a family history), it's time to talk to your doctor about scheduling your screening. The procedure might not be anyone’s favorite activity, but it could save your life. Don’t wait for symptoms—early detection is key. Share this message to encourage others to take charge of their health. #ColonHealth #GetScreened #PreventCancer
