Van is the real deal. He came to us through our transitional employment program and we quickly realized he was an amazing person. At our annual Christmas party a couple of months ago, Van said, "At PD, I learned my new core values: Faith Driven Action, Others First, Ownership, and Constant Improvement. At my new job, I am bringing this new energy and it is going amazing. I love it." His new employer wrote back to PD saying how good of a job Van was doing. Does it get any better than that!?

One of our core team members, Richard, is an absolute JOY to be around. He constantly has a positive attitude, shows up ready to work, and is very teachable. He is learning how to weld and is adding a ton of value back in our metal shop. He had a really hard road of family difficulties, homelessness, and a lack of direction. Richard has reunited with his family, secured stable housing, and sees his career as moving forward instead of backwards.
