PHM’s Jan Weinstein, EVP, recently sat down with MediaPost’s Lisa Singer to discuss her career journey, what motivated her to jump into the world of health media and her philosophy on teamwork and taking risks, both in and out of the office. Check out the full discussion here:
Jan Weinstein calls herself an “accidental agency person,” but if you look at the impact she’s made, you’d think she was born for it. From breaking the mold in healthcare marketing to navigating the ever-changing landscape of creative problem-solving, the VP of Media at Publicis Health Media has built a career around passion, resilience, and a “turning a no into a what if” mentality. In this episode of #BrandInsiderBTS, Jan also talks with Lisa Singer about a pivotal moment in her personal life when she decided to challenge herself right before a major surgery. It’s that same mindset of pushing limits and seizing the moment that has shaped everything she does. Plus, she opens up about why teamwork is everything, why experiences mean more than things, and how she ended up being the unofficial doctor to her friends-- even without the degree. “I chose health to drive awareness for the impact cancer has on people in their everyday lives. No matter what happens in the ring, I know we’re making a difference.” By day, Leyna Bradley, Project Manager, Programming and Events chooses health by collaborating with PHM teams across capabilities, ensuring key initiatives, including the #PHMHealthFront, run smoothly. However, outside of the office, Leyna chooses health in another impactful way—by training to compete in a Haymakers for Hope charity boxing match to raise funds for cancer research. For Leyna, boxing is just another way to continue her “fight” against cancer, a cause that is close to her heart. Read more on Leyna’s training journey and how she chooses health:
