Predictive analytics in the real world: does it work? Cory Anderson, General Manager for WattBridge, made the case with a recent study including 50 dispatchable units. He discussed a new way to think about operating, in addition to predicting failures before they happen, in the first year of application.

A tale of two depots: Bob Bosse and James Pahmiyer shared 2 years of history with hundreds of engines. Using condition-based maintenance strategies, the depot responded to 330+ service events—more than 60% of them unplanned—which makes shorter TATs critical and still on-time TATs remained at 99%. Further, they shared how service providers and users can apply the same proactive methods to facilitate the seamless integration of onsite teams, field crews, and depots.

Does predictive technology work for dispatchable power generation? Cory Anderson will take his audience at WTUI Western Turbine Users through real case studies from a 50-engine operating portfolio with units dispatched daily. The discussion will consider acclimating to new tools and business input so that operators can improve business decisions, avoid potential equipment failures, and save millions in damage and downtime. How can you maintain performance as dispatchable power generation hits new records and parts run short? At WTUI Western Turbine Users, co-presenters Robert Bosse and James Pahmiyer will share strategies currently in use and suggest methods to embrace for future resilience. Their multi-year analysis of nearly 200 LM turbines shows a fleetwide shift toward unplanned outages and calls for innovative ways to get ahead. Don’t miss it #powerindustry #LM2500 #turbines
