🇦🇱 We’re proud to announce the launch of our first-ever startup accelerator program in Albania! This is a milestone for innovation in the region as we welcome 22 visionary startups from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and the Albanian Diaspora from Austria, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, and the UK. These startups now have the opportunity to access world-class mentorship, investment opportunities, and Plug and Play Tech Center’s global network, designed to help them scale and succeed in today’s competitive landscape. 🚀 We’re excited to work alongside our incredible partners to make this possible: Albanian - American Development Foundation (AADF), Piramida Tirana, IDEMIA, Bashkia Tirane, and Startup Albania. Their support is instrumental in laying the foundation for a thriving innovation ecosystem in the region and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs. To kick off the program, we hosted a hands-on workshop led by mentor Yoad Mick, and an insightful panel event “Unlocking Opportunities for Startups and Angels” with Clemente F. and Thomas Bigagli from Plug and Play, and Arjan Y., Director General of Startup Albania. A huge acknowledgment to the incredible on-the-ground crew: Uranik Begu, Hannah Boomgaarden, Klajdi Shyti, Milva Avrami for their outstanding work. Great news for Spanish founders! 🚀 EA Group Holding and Plug and Play are launching a €20M fund to invest in early-stage startups based in Spain and Spanish founders around the world 🇪🇸 The fund will target companies across AI, fintech, sustainability, mobility, and e-commerce, with plans to support 30–35 startups through seed investments and follow-on funding.
