In order to serve the students of Placer County, the Placer County Office of Education, in conjunction with local school districts, provides an array of programs and services to meet student needs. We accomplish this task by: • Providing high quality specialized programs for students • Recruiting, retaining, and developing highly qualified staff • Monitoring fiscal accountability and expenditures of our taxpayers dollars. The vision of the Placer County Superintendent of Schools and the Placer County Board of Education is to provide exemplary leadership and service to schools, parents, and the community as we work together to provide a globally competitive, comprehensive, rigorous and relevant education to all students.

Clover Valley Saved! 🍀🤝💙 The Placer County Office of Education has taken a leadership role in the successful effort to conserve 402 acres of Clover Valley by approving a $2.37 million investment, securing the funding needed for its permanent protection through a conservation easement. This initiative represents a significant commitment to preserving Placer County’s natural lands while establishing a dedicated outdoor education program to serve the more than 76,000 students in the region. PCOE's investment proudly joins a collaborative partnership that includes the City of Rocklin, City of Lincoln, CA, Placer County, Sky View Foundation, Jessup University, and Placer Land Trust.
