Which healthcare provider organizations have higher profits under the 340B Drug Discount Program? The 340B program, implemented in 1992 and originally intended to provide resources to care for vulnerable populations, has grown exponentially in the last few years. So too has the scrutiny of the program with several studies showing that the 340B program has not resulted in expanded charity care or other services for poor and underserved patients. Recent research by Petauri’s Bob Nordyke sheds light on why this is happening. The bottom-line: hospitals with greater monopoly power and those serving wealthier areas drive higher profits on 340B drugs than other providers. In 2020, she moved to the United Arab Emirates to apply her expertise in clinical operations at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.   Ahlam joined Petauri Kinect to influence health care on a macro level.
