Interested in exploring the future of quantum technology? Join other aspiring innovators in the Future Leaders in Quantum (FLIQ) virtual hackathon, a global event co-organized by the Quantum Coalition and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as part of the UN's International Year of Quantum Science and Technology 2025. The hackathon will take place on from Friday, May 16th to Tuesday May 20th, with a 36 hour hacking period the weekend of May 17-18. FLIQ is open to everyone from undergraduates to post-graduates, with both beginners and experts welcome! The competition will feature four tracks, addressing the role of quantum technology in science, art, business, and education, each with two challenges: one for beginners and one for more advanced participants. You don't have to wait until May to get involved! Pre-hackathon workshops are already being posted on the AI for Good website from March 14th through May 14th, covering key quantum concepts and essential skills for the competition.
