Last week Peak Energy CEO, Landon Mossburg, joined energy manufacturing and policy leaders at the annual SAFE Summit where he gave a keynote discussing the urgency of building America's #battery industry. "If we don't get into this game right now, we are going to lose," Landon told conference goers in regard to the domestic battery industry. Landon's speech highlighted the potential the US has to lead global battery innovation by focusing its growth in advanced battery technologies and battery chemistries like #sodium-ion for which 🇺🇸 has a natural advantage. Amidst increasing tariffs and global trade tensions, the importance of establishing a domestic battery industry based off of domestically-sourced materials continues to grow. The United States has every mineral and raw material it needs to build a complete sodium-ion battery supply chain here at home and the government should be all-in on this fight.
