Big celebrations today at Thompson Intermediate! The campus held a high-energy pep rally to honor their incredible achievement of being named a Texas School to Watch — recognized at both the state and national level! This honor is given to schools that show strong academic achievement, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Thompson has not only met these high standards but continues to grow and serve as a model for other schools across the state. The Pasadena Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees, unanimously, named Pasadena ISD Deputy Superintendent Dr. Toni Lopez as Pasadena ISD’s Superintendent. Dr. Lopez will replace Superintendent Dr. DeeAnn Powell who is retiring and will take on the role of Superintendent Emeritus until her official retirement date. Fifty-nine Bondy Intermediate 8th grade students are on the school's annual trip to Washington DC and New York City. While in Washington, four students were selected to participate in the wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. What an honor for Pasadena ISD and Bondy Intermediate to be selected to participate in this solemn ceremony! 👏🔥 Sending them our best for a safe trip!
