We’re still hiring! Arête is on the lookout for an exceptional Executive Director to lead our growing organization. This is a rare chance to shape the future of an early-stage climate nonprofit tackling one of the most pressing risks of our time: catastrophic sea level rise due to marine ice sheet destabilization. As ED, you’ll drive strategy, partnerships, and fundraising, while building and leading a top-tier team dedicated to improving sea-level rise forecasting and accelerating research on ice sheet stabilization interventions. You'll be working alongside a stellar founding team that includes Brent Minchew (current acting ED and Associate Professor of Geophysics, MIT), Colin Meyer (Assistant Professor of Engineering, Dartmouth), Lauren Mahle (Director of Programs and Partnerships) and other leaders from philanthropy, policy, and the nonprofit sectors.
