Today, we had the honor of hosting an incredible Suicide Prevention Training for 32 school districts and 304 school personnel across Central New York! This event, the first of its kind, was months in the making, and we are beyond proud to have made this important step in addressing mental health in our schools. A HUGE thank you to the Lobdell Family and Onondaga County for their unwavering support in helping us bring this crucial training to life. With guidance from Dr. Daniel Reidenberg of the International Association for Suicide Prevention, this training provided essential tools to educators, administrators, bus drivers, custodians, and all school staff to better support students’ mental health. Together, we're building a safer, more supportive school environment where every student can thrive. Let's continue to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and save lives. Together, we can make a difference! #SuicidePrevention #MentalHealthAwareness #CNY #StudentSupport #CommunityPartnership #OswegoHealth
