This year's EPOS OP Symposium: "Trauma Surgery: a Contrast of Resource Rich vs Resource Poor Environments" was a great success! Thank you to our amazing faculty Dr. William Guy Atherton from Bristol UK, Dr. Judith Nassazzi of CoRSU Rehabilitation Hospital, Uganda, and Dr. Frederico Canavese from Genova, Italy. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible! We discussed the differences between trauma surgery with equipment diversity vs limited access, as well the particular challenges facing surgeons in resource poor environments, for both acute trauma and late presenting traumatic deformity.
