Travis: After spending years as a coach at a traditional brokerage, I found that I could not give the agents I coached sufficient resources to reach their goals. I joined Orchard because they are bought in on each individual's goals, and show that with the different resources they provide in terms of product offerings, cross-functional relationships with mortgage and pricing, and education. 🏗️ What makes you excited about building a team? Travis: Real estate is only interesting to a certain type of person. They people who are drawn to it and succeed in it are very highly intrinsically motivated. They have clear goals and know what to do to achieve them. I'm excited to build a team at Orchard because as a team leader, I feel that we provide everything someone needs to hit their goals, and I love seeing the success our support can bring them. 💪 What’s your favorite Orchard value? Travis: My favorite Orchard value is "Find A Way." In our business every client has a different needs. I love working with people who have the ability to creatively problem solve and are confident enough to execute novel plans for each client. 🌇 What makes a terrific agent? Travis: To succeed at Orchard you have to be motivated. Your support can only push you so far. As a Team Lead I will remove every obstacle from your path, but it's up to you to go down it. A great agent is open-minded to new ways to find success, confident enough to try new things, and has the wherewithal to overcome failure. 💖 Where is your favorite place to go in Houston? Travis: A big reason I chose Orchard is because of the freedom to work from wherever I want. Sometimes that means meeting up with agents at a coffee shop, or having an outing at Top Golf. But truth be told, most of the time it means I get to provide all the support to my agents from my home. That means I get to maximize the time I have with my family. So my honest answer is my favorite place in Houston is wherever my daughter is.
