The success of the Magical Forest, a cornerstone of our community engagement, is directly linked to the dedication of our volunteers. In 2024, the Magical Forest hosted more than 6,500 volunteers and received almost 52,000 hours of volunteer work to make the magic happen. In case you missed it, here are some of the highlights Opportunity Village shared in March:  🔗 (Click the links in the comments to view the highlight.)   🔹 Members of the Opportunity Village community traveled to Carson City to join the Nevada Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities for Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day at the Nevada State Legislature.   🔹 Opportunity Village celebrated Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month with month-long activities including Picks for OV: Hoops Hoopla and third-party givebacks from A Spray of Rays, Sport Clips Haircuts, Kendra Scott, CinloCo and Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. 🔹Opportunity Village launched the OV Artworks Studio online store at OVArtStore.org. 🔹 OV hosted a family fun day for the local developmental disability community in Sean’s Park at the Engelstad campus. 🔹 OV’s day habilitation program enjoyed a community outing to the Ice Age Fossils State Park thanks to the Protectors of Tule Springs. 🔹OV athletes represented the community in the City of Las Vegas Corporate Challenge games. #MarchRecap #OpportunityVillage #LasVegasNonprofit #LasVegas #ICYMI video: a blue and white animated graphic.
