After nearly three years of leading and building at 6th Ave, I’ve officially closed that chapter and am stepping into something new.
Leaving wasn’t easy. I’ve had the privilege of working with over 90 brands, leading incredible projects and teams, and growing in ways I never expected. I got to lead and grow talent like Alana Mandel and Hannah Giron and Diohannah Lucero and Charlotte Settle and Liz Wilding and Andre Pascual and so many others. I did work I’m extremely proud of, building lasting relationships with so many clients, and developing phenomenal case studies for clients like Love Management, Inc. and Go Early Tarrant County, the latter of which I’m continuing to support this year alongside Level Up Digital.
But if I’m being honest, I was burnt out. Deeply. And after years of pushing through, I finally had to listen to myself and say, enough.
So I made the critical decision to leave—with nothing lined up, just a need to step back and reset. The universe had my back. Because somehow, in this chaotic job market, I received multiple offers, and the right door opened at exactly the right time. Or should I say, opened again.
I’m thrilled to share that I’m returning to OneShare Health to lead Marketing Operations. The fact that I’m coming back to the same company, to many of the same wonderful people, says everything about the culture and leadership here. It speaks volumes. It means so much to have received the warm welcome back I have from Meghan Cochrane, Michelle Berndt, Amber Johnson, among so many other names and familiar faces, and I’m excited to serve under the leadership of Kyle Dietz, Buddy Combs and Jen Slutzker.
There’s so much I want to unpack—about burnout, about what it means to truly lead, about recognizing when something no longer serves you. And in time, I will. But right now, I’m just grateful. For the opportunities I’ve been given, for this opportunity, for the support I’ve received, and for the chance to step forward into a healthier, more sustainable future.
