Today, on Trans Day of Visibility, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and joy of trans youth! 🏳️⚧️ Visibility is powerful, but if you aren’t able to be out right now, that’s ok. Your safety and well-being matter most. For allies, visibility matters too. We echo calls for cisgender folks to show up loudly and unapologetically in support of trans rights and to help lighten the load trans folks carry daily. Speak out, educate others, interrupt anti-trans rhetoric, and create safer spaces. At a time when anti-trans rhetoric and policies threaten the basic rights and lives of trans folks, the whole of the LGBTQ+ community and our allies must stand firmly in support, pushing back against hate, advocating for trans rights, and creating a world where every trans person is safe, celebrated, and free to be themselves.
